Hull House talk

Hi everyone! For those of you just visiting I’m Theresa Blankenship Owner/Innkeeper at Historic Hull House Inn, Welcome!!

I wanted to chat about the difference between an Inn verses a BB. We operate as a host free Inn, meaning there are no innkeeper or staff living in the house.

We allow our guest the freedom to enjoy the house without interference from staff. Guest can visit with family and friends while in town . Our guest are privilege to the kitchen and other areas of the house. We provide light snacks a light breakfast bottled water and local Crown Brew coffees for our guest enjoyment. We offer several packages on our web site that can be purchased when reserving with us. We do not enter guest rooms unless our guests have specifically ask us to freshen up their room we always want to respect their privacy.

I love doing all the details, so in each room you will find homemade chocolate chip cookies.

I am always striving to make this 140 year old house comfortable cozy an a place to remember.

Historic Hull House Inn is on the National register of historic places, we have tried to maintain the integrity of this old house, but yet still making it convenient for our guest.

If your wanting to enjoy festivals, Barbecue, quaint shops, unique eateries, wine country or boating on our beautiful lakes, then Southern Illinois is your destination.
